The 'Nokue' Mary Jane, with it's bamboo-inspired outsole, was born from a trip to the Republic of Benin in West Africa. In this tiny country, lies the village of Ganvie where the locals use this prized plant to build their huts on stilts over Lake Nokue. The upper is made from Pull Grain leather, treated with natural oils and polish. The high charge centrifuge process softens the leather and gives it a granulated look. Insoles are a recycled carbon compound that give added support and breathability. The Natural Rubber outsole is shock absorbing, flexible and durable with long lasting comfort.
