AHAR(R), Asics High Abrasion Resistance Rubber uses a tough rubber compound used at the heavy-contact areas of the outside to help cut down on the excessive wear. Asics Gel(R) Cushioning System designed to bring about the highest possible shock absorbing effect, the Gel-units are strategically placed in the midsole of the shoe. For the asics Gel cushioning system various materials are used. Depending on it's function, the Gel-unit contains a silicone-encapsulated in polyurethane. The shape of the units are also precisely designed to the specific function of position. PHF (Personalized Heel Fit) system moulds and customises itself to the individual heel shape of the wearer. Sp EVAtrade;, a propietary midsole material that improves bounce back characteristics & decreases midsole breakdown. The proprietrary midsole material takes on a new role as a lasting technology, enhancing comfort by improved cushioning through the use of three different densities: 45 density for hight cushion and flexibility, 55 density for increased stiffness to boost the spring rate, and 65 density for increased stiffness thus limiting midsole deformation. Stability Cradle uses a reinforced EVA component contoured to provide medial and lateral stability. Trusstic System(R) uses a moulded component under the midfoot area that provides over-pronation control in combination with extremely contoured midsoles as well as reducing the weight of the shoe.
