is proud to offer the El Naturalista - Sumi-E N045 (Tibet) - Women's: El Naturalista(R) footwear is made as natural as possible; serving to bring attention, preservation and support to the Environment on a global level. 'Sumi-E' is the 3000 year old art form of Japanese calligraphy. The shoes in this line were inspired from a beginner's workshop taught by a famous maestro in Japan. The upper is made from Stream Leather; tanned with vegetable extracts, ground tree bark and churned for weeks in a special cylinder. It is treated by hand with animal fat, olive and sunflower oil. This naturally protects the shoes from water, dirt and everyday wear. Footbed is made from recycled cork and natural latex. This conforms to your feet to evenly distribute the body weight and absorb the harsh impacts of walking. The natural ergonomic rubber outsole has pod-like design with calligraphy detail.
