Goodyear Welt Construction inherently flame-resistant thread. Kevlar(R) sewing thread on welt. Nomex(R) sewing thread on met shield and toe rand. Contoured, comfort-inspired design. "Hinged" met shield - beneficial when squatting. Asymmetric shield design - follows natural shape of the foot. Anatomically contoured insole with the integral steel shank for support. Closed-cell PU footbed for lightweight cushioning and resistance to compression set. Timberland Pro(R) is heat resistant, durable, specially made rubber compound to offer improved slip-resistance, abrasion-resistance and oil resistance. The result is a better traction on all surfaces. Safety toe meets ANSI, ASTM F2412-05 and ASTM F2413-05 safety standards and features a roomier protective steel toe box for a more comfortable fit. Electrical Hazard Protection meet ANSI Z41PT99, ASTM F2415-05 and F2413-05 standards to provide protection from open circuits.
